The media campaign for a record-breaking anime opening.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — Infinity Castle

Revenue Arc served as the sole media partner on this campaign, connecting DOOH, Display, CTV and OTT with ArcForesight audience modeling. The brief: reach anime fans and potential new viewers around the U.S. theatrical opening with a limited media budget.

The result
$137M
North American gross as of March 31, 2026
#1
Anime opening in North America, September 2025
$70M
Opening-weekend estimate, September 14, 2025

Published film results. These totals do not measure the revenue caused by Revenue Arc's media; no incremental box-office lift is claimed.

The approach

01DOOH

Take the fandom's own turf

DOOH placements in anime, comic and collectible retail environments put the film near places where core fans gather.

02Display · CTV · OTT

Retarget by proximity

Eligible audiences associated with participating locations could be reached across Display, CTV and OTT. Matching depends on available signals and inventory; proximity does not prove ad exposure or guarantee household reach.

03ArcForesight

Expand from audience signals

ArcForesight used viewership signals to model audiences with similar interests. The model guided targeting; it did not predict individual ticket purchases with certainty.

How to read the evidence

The agency testimonial describes the experience of working with Revenue Arc. The public sources establish the film's commercial performance. Campaign dates, spend, deduplicated reach and a controlled lift study are not published here.

For a similar brief, agree on audience eligibility, reach, frequency and the method for measuring incremental outcomes before launch.

From the agency side
Let's face it, film marketing is an extraordinarily difficult task and has only gotten harder over the past few years. Then we got an absolutely tiny budget to launch this title, and the typical “hard” of film marketing seemed next to impossible. We were truly looking for a unicorn that could help us - enter the frame: Revenue Arc. We needed something of a one-stop shop that could activate across channels, efficiently, precisely against our audiences, and with extraordinary speed - not only did Revenue Arc do this, they absolutely crushed it. The models they deployed - that the rest of the business hadn't even heard of yet - led to great media results and a record-breaking box office.
